Learn the songs you love by taking music lessons with the artists themselves, with the new Spotlight lessons from the Yousician music app.
The Yousician Music App makes learning musical instruments accessible and fun for musicians of all skill levels, through interactive gameplay. Now users can learn songs from their favorite artists, taught by the artists who wrote them.
New Spotlight courses include personalized tips and tricks and tutorials, as well as exclusive performances and intimate stories from artists about their careers so far.
The first is a class from GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter Jason Mraz, who offers guitar and ukulele lessons on Yousician for his most famous songs, including the hits “I’m Yours “and” I Won’t Give Up “.
The Yousician app is clear and engaging, offering guitar, ukulele, bass, piano, and vocal lessons with chords, melodies, and different playing styles explored. The layout is similar to Guitar Hero.
Also online for a Spotlight course in early 2022, the Metallica group gives guitar lessons. A partnership between Colombian musician Juanes and Duolingo will focus on teaching languages ââthrough music. The range of genres of the lessons shows the wide appeal of the Yousician app for all budding instrumentalists, whatever music they like to listen to.
Hadley Spanier, Brand Marketing and Artist Relations Manager at Yousician, said: âTime and time again our users have told us how much they enjoy playing songs by their favorite artists. Our artist partners are excited about this new way to connect with fans, and we know our users will love this new hands-on approach. We’re thrilled with what’s in store for Spotlight.
